Plan Target Beneficiaries

The plan will benefit people living in Longido, Monduli, Simanjiro and Kiteto Districts in Arusha and Manyara regions in Northern Tanzania.

The main target groups are the agro-pastoral households in the villages of Lembapuli, Lesoit, Zambia, Orkitikiti, Loolera, Amei, Kimana, Mbikiri, Orpopong'i and Ndaleta. In Kiteto District, the plan will directly benefit five thousand seven hundred seventeen (5,717) agro-pastoral households with a total of thirty four thousand three hundred and four (34,304) people in ten (10) villages.

In Simanjiro District, plan beneficiaries are agro-pastoral communities in nine villages. A total of forty nine thousand one hundred thirty (49,130) people living in eight thousand one hundred eighty eight (8,188) households. The villages that will benefit from the plan in Simajiro District are Kitwai A,Kitwai B, Looderkes, Nemalulu, Naberera, Magadini, Lorbene, Olchoro Onyori, Kiruani and Msitu wa Tembo

In Monduli District, a total of thirty two thousand and forty two (32,032) people living in five thousand three hundred thirty three (5,333) households will benefit directly from the plan. The villages that will benefit from the plan are Moita Kipok, Moita Kiloriti, Moita Bwawani; Esilalei, Oltukai, Naitolia, Arkaria, Lendikinya, Mti Mmoja and Nanja.

A total of twenty four thousand six hundred ninety five (24, 695), people living in four thousand one hundred fifteen (4, 115) households in ten (10) villages in Longido district will benefit directly from the plan. The villages that will benefit from the plan in Longido District are Ewuorr Entekke, Kimokowua, Elerai, Engikaret, Kiserian, Orbomba, Mairowua, Mundarara and Noondoto. One village in Aru-meru i.e. Engutuk Oit also falls under the Longido cluster in this plan and programming.
